Location: Cambridge/Hybrid (1-2 days per week in the office)

Contract: Permanent/Full Time (35 hours per week)

About the role

Operations is made up of several departments, responsible for key processes that ensure we can deliver qualifications securely and successfully to schools and students around the world. The Despatches team at Cambridge International is responsible for ordering, uploading, despatching, and tracking all assessment and administration materials required to support our customers worldwide, along with the production and despatch of all hardcopy results documents.

Our Team Leaders are vital to those activities because they are close to the action, and are responsible for organising their own and their team's time and energies to meet and exceed objectives. This role involves:

  • accountability for the completion of day-to-day tasks of Despatches operations processes.
  • support, coach and assist administrators to solve day-to-day issues that may arise and require investigation, direction, or escalation
  • acting as the point of contact and lead for specific processes and encouraging your team to look at ways to improve processes
  • updating and reporting your team's progress against agreed plans

About you

As our next Despatches Team Leader, you'll need to have experience providing high-quality administrative services using Microsoft Office products. You'll also have excellent accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, prioritising your workload to tight deadlines.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Problem solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
