Job Description:
We are a friendly furniture import company based in Bicester (on the old Upper Heyford airbase). We design, manufacture and import stunning furniture from around the world, then supply it to retailers all over the UK. We are a small but fun team to work within. It is important to us to maintain a very positive working environment, so we love people with a positive outlook!
Key Responsibilities
· Previous experience Line Managing a small team is required
· Producing KPIs
· Overseeing outgoing deliveries
· Recruitment
· Stock forecasting working with overseas suppliers
· Stock Management including resolving stock queries & system accuracy
· Maintain relationships with retailers in both the UK and EU, facilitating the seamless booking of inbound stock
· Oversee the management of a fleet of vehicles & forklifts, liaising with maintenance suppliers to oversee planned and adhoc maintenance of all vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
· To ensure Health and Safety and COSHH regulations are always adhered to and that all incidents are reported in line with Company policy
· Collaborate with the finance team to manage office expenses and monitor budgets
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a logistics or management role.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to act independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to understand and communicate in English, both written and verbal.
