Job Introduction

We are looking to appoint an experienced and driven Operations Manager to oversee a specific area in and around Ipswich, overseeing catering operations for a region of Primary & Secondary school contracts. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading our teams in delivering an excellent food operation, meeting and exceeding the client’s expectations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all services detailed within the contract are adhered to, delivered and where possible enhanced to meet and exceed the clients, customers and company expectations
  • Continually review the performance of each contract and their profitability
  • Ensure costs are controlled but that they don’t affect the service quality and delivery
  • Food is of the highest standard and in line with the current high street trends
  • Manage and support the development, progress and performance of all line reporting managers
  • Support the sales function in retaining and obtaining new business
  • Compliance with all Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures and standards
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in managing and developing teams
  • Client relationship management
  • Excellent stakeholder management, both internally and externally
  • Experience dealing with HR matters, ie grievances & performance
  • IT Literate
  • Full clean driving licence

Package Description
  • 40 hours per week
  • £45,000 to £55,000 per annum
  • Company car or mileage expense paid
  • 52 weeks per year
  • Annual bonus scheme dependent on performance
