Access Community Trust promote social inclusion for the community benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society. We are currently recruiting a Health and Wellbeing Operations Manager to join our team, covering the East and West of Suffolk (Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft).
Reporting to the Head of Health and Wellbeing, the Operations Manager will be responsible for providing leadership to their mental health and community support teams in East and West Suffolk to ensure that the operational priorities in the contact centres are aligned to the overall organisational priorities and are delivered through a clear focus on safety, customer experience & sustainability. The Health and Wellbeing Operations Manager role will work in conjunction with Service Managers and Team Leaders and manage both the day to day and long-term service delivery and performance objectives across multiple departments. Ensuring that we meet our service level agreements within the parameters of our budgetary requirements whilst maintaining a quality service for our customers and employees.
Other key responsibilities:
- Line management of teams, including of practical objectives and regular performance updates
- Proactive management of the employee lifecycle
- Facilitate clear and regular communication to all team members to ensure they are aware of and recognise organisational priorities and focuses Progress and performance
- Actively participate in team performance and assurance review meetings
- Leadership
- Build a reputation of being a visible and engaging member of the Health and Wellbeing Team and wider leadership team
- Act as a key link in the communication between the teams/hub/service
- Build relationships with internal Stakeholders the team/hub/service to work collaboratively to achieve their objectives
- Proactively partake in projects and transformation, representing Health and Wellbeing and ensuring changes and improvements are shared and communicated. Dedicate time to workshops and project discovery meetings

We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record in managing high performing teams. Working between our core hours of 8am – 6pm you will be instrumental in the management of our customer focused operations. Variety comes in the way of managing multiskilled teams, travel to our hubs and communities and being part of our ambitious senior leadership team.
It is essential that the Health and Wellbeing Operations Manager has experience within a similar role, the ability to role-model own behaviours and work with others whilst inspiring a motivated and productive team. You will have experience making sound business decisions and the ability to generate a client-focused services. You will also be able to effectively communicate key concepts, priorities, and challenges to all areas of the business.
On offer is a salary of £38,890-£44,503 per annum plus other company benefits including:
- One month paid sabbatical after 5 years’ service
