At Blossom Tree Montessori, we are recruiting for an Operations Lead to join our warm and friendly team._ We are set next to a beautiful farm on Joel Street in Northwood Hills/Pinner. We are around a 7 minute walk from Northwood Hills Station and there is a bus stop right outside the nursery so we are very accessible via public transport. _This role is full time, working 40 hours per week – working a variety of shifts between the hours of 7:30am-6pm.
**Salary - £32,000 PA**
A little about Blossom Tree Montessori:
- We first opened our Northwood branch in July 2019 and have expanded the nursery twice since opening.
- Our Eastcote branch is our second branch to open in May 2023 which we are very excited about!
- We are really passionate about the Montessori ethos and we provide in house training as well as supporting staff to complete courses to further their knowledge.
- There is plenty of room for career progression and we are very focused on upskilling our staff team.
- We have a total of 5 classrooms across 2 floors within a beautiful building with a lot of character.
- We use a nursery app called ‘Blossom Educational’ which is our sister company! It’s incredibly user friendly and helps us to be efficient and organised.

A day at Blossom would include:
- Working as a part of the management team being involved in the opening and closing of the nursery.
- Ensuring communication with parents is kept at a high level - responding to emails, sending group emails to parents and the staff team.
- Managing the enquiry process. Taking calls from parents and responding to our online enquiries, booking in viewings and following up with the parents after their viewing.
- Sending monthly invoices to parents and managing the parent accounts.
- Liaising with our accountant on a daily basis.
- Completing payroll on a monthly basis.
- Managing recruitment - looking through CV’s and contacting candidates, telephone interviews with candidates, searching for CV’s online.
- Safer recruitment - Applying for and checking DBS’s, requesting references, checking qualifications, ensuring all onboarding documents are completed.
- Completing inductions.
- Completing the 3 and 4 year old funding on a monthly basis.
- Manage all App related uploading and ensure Enquiries, Staffing, Rota, Room Moves, Occupancy, Registering Children, extra sessions, enquiries and ensuring family profiles and information is correct. Manage all App related items and ensure everything is managed effectively.
What we would ask from you:
- A full and relevant Childcare qualification at a minimum of Level 3.
- Previous experience of working in Early Years is essential.
- Having good ICT skills is essential.
- Being a positive role model to your team.
- Effectively lead and manage the staff team.
- An extensive knowledge of the current EYFS, Ofsted and welfare requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- To be passionate, motivated, have the ability to work well within a team and be able to adapt to a fun and inspiring way of working.
We take safeguarding very seriously and a current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate is essential.
