What does your typical day look like?
You will be responsible for the operational finance monthly close process to ensure that monthly financial information is robust and prepared in accordance with the groups account principles. The role is a key member of the operations finance team supporting during the SAP upgrade
Other key actions will be but not limited to:
- To manage the company’s quality management system
- Supporting the budgeting and reforecasting process for the operations team ensuring all overheads and variances are correctly captured and the process is undertaken inline with the timetable.
- Review of weekly performance KPI's and identification of trends to highlight areas where action is required to be undertaken
- Provide support to the bakery finance managers as required to provide support and guidance
- Work closely with the senior operations finance manager to support the integration of Burtons and Foxs into FBC ensuring that consistent Mi is prepared to compare performance across the bakeries
What are the key ingredients needed for the role?
You will need to be a fully qualified accountant within FMCG along with managerial experience
You will need to be confident with excel including look ups , pivot tables and strong power point skills
This role is a 14 month Fixed term contract
It is a hybrid role and can based from Llantarnam, Edinburgh , Blackpool, Batley or Dorset
