Overview
Little Fish is looking for an Operations Executive to join our new venture. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our business early and help us build our operations function to be the best it can be.
We are an innovative start-up on a mission is to bring exceptional sushi and pan-Asian cuisine to food lovers rural communities. This role will primarily involve operations but as a start-up, you may be expected to get involved in any and every area of the business so flexibility is important.
Our kitchen and menu are run by Michelin-trained, multi-award winning Head Chef and Co-Founder, Neil Witney. Neil has set up and run some of the UK’s most successful pan-Asian restaurants.

Responsibilities and Duties
This will be a varied role and we are looking for people who are willing to be flexible and get involved in different areas of the business. As a start-up, we value attitude above all else.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Running the daily planning and scheduling for chefs and drivers
- Overseeing the packing and picking of orders for fulfilment
- Scheduling daily driver routes and managing the delivery schedule
- Ensuring timely dispatch of orders and managing delays
- Ensuring that the fleet is clean and presentable
- Managing stock levels for packaging and consumables
- Ensuring that all FOH staff and processes comply with health and safety and food hygiene regulations
- Regular requirement to drive when busy or drivers are unavailable
- Driving operational efficiency through your area of the business
Qualifications and Skills
The right attitude is what we value most. No formal experience is required, and full training will be provided.
Some skills would be a benefit but not required:
- Previous operations experience.
- Some customer service experience would be a benefit.
Required attributes are:
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management and organisational skills.

Location and Hours
Our kitchen is in Liphook, Hampshire.
Our operating days are Tuesday to Sunday. This will be a full time role from Wednesday to Sunday and core hours will vary depending on the day of the week but primarily it will be starting and finishing early. We are open to being flexible.

Salary and Benefits
Salary/hourly wages are negotiable depending on experience, but we aim to pay top of market for the best talent. We offer great prospects for people that want to grow with the company.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
