HS&BA a Third-Party Administrator located in Dublin is seeking an experienced accounting clerk.
Job purpose: The Accounting clerk will report to the Controller and is responsible for performing general clerical functions of the Trust Accounting department.
Duties:
- Prepare checks for mailing
- Prepare the file for checks processed daily which will sent to the bank for approval to pay.
- Maintain trust accounting hard copy files
- Prepare boxes to send to storage for all trust funds
- Prepare monthly summaries of health claim payments
- Make/research check tracer requests for claims (check copies and stop payments)
- Assist with preparing misc. deposits for all trust funds
- Update daily schedules, review emails from outside clearing house and bank confirmations
- Prepare all documentation for Audits
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one-year general office experience
- Attention to detail
- Keep sensitive information confidential
- Proven computer/data entry experience
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately
- Ability to file, sort and alphabetize
- Ability to multitask
Work schedule: Monday - Friday - Flex schedule 7:00am - 5:30pm.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.50 - $26.27 per hour
