Job description

HS&BA a Third-Party Administrator located in Dublin is seeking an experienced accounting clerk.

Job purpose: The Accounting clerk will report to the Controller and is responsible for performing general clerical functions of the Trust Accounting department.

Duties:

  • Prepare checks for mailing
  • Prepare the file for checks processed daily which will sent to the bank for approval to pay.
  • Maintain trust accounting hard copy files
  • Prepare boxes to send to storage for all trust funds
  • Prepare monthly summaries of health claim payments
  • Make/research check tracer requests for claims (check copies and stop payments)
  • Assist with preparing misc. deposits for all trust funds
  • Update daily schedules, review emails from outside clearing house and bank confirmations
  • Prepare all documentation for Audits
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one-year general office experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Keep sensitive information confidential
  • Proven computer/data entry experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately
  • Ability to file, sort and alphabetize
  • Ability to multitask

Work schedule: Monday - Friday - Flex schedule 7:00am - 5:30pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.50 - $26.27 per hour

Physical setting:

  • Office

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
