About the role

The Operations Excellence Lead is responsible for design and delivery of Workplace Solutions (WPS) services and their performance across all WPS sites. This includes ensuring the services meet the needs of Consumer Healthcare and that our trusted service partners deliver in line with our expectations. The Operation Excellence role is the trusted SME for the operations team, they have global responsibility the design and standardised delivery of the WPS services, financial and other benchmark performance metrics and objectives, customer satisfaction and the evolution of service strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead service strategy and standardisation of delivery within Facilities Management (FM) globally.
  • Implement and utilize best practice systems and processes to improve capability, drive increased employee satisfaction and productivity, positively impacting business revenue and margins.
  • As a trusted SME identify and lead process improvement initiatives across the full scope of WPS including Regional Operations, Real Estate and Workplace Experience. Ensure service safety and compliance with local legislation and company policy.
  • Drive global standardisation whilst allowing for local Real Estate and Facilities market maturity, supplier capabilities and cultural requirements.
  • Govern WPS services, providing oversight and analysis to enable benefits realization. Manage overall WPS performance and manage business risk. This includes close collaboration with service partners and oversight of their services delivery, processes and resulting Haleon customer experience.
  • Support the deployment of services at sites transitioning to WPS operational control
  • Lead projects and service development & deployment that reflect the Haleon purpose, brand identity and target customer experience - resulting in increased site utilisation, employee engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, Engineering or Facilities related discipline; Advanced Degree, e.g. master’s or MBA preferred
  • Project management experience ideally incorporating matrixed business and functional stakeholders
  • Facilities management operational experience within a multinational organisation. Ideally on both provider and client side, or as a trusted advisor.
  • Comfortable operating with, and being effective despite ambiguity
  • Excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills
  • High mental and people agility
  • Ability to build strong relationships across broad stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated track record of providing customer service within a large corporate environment. Including new concept development and evaluation.
