Leeds (Hybrid)
Salary up to £45,000 DOE, PLUS benefits

About the role
Reporting to our Director of Pricing, Data and Analytics, we have a fantastic opportunity for a strong Data Analyst to help shape the future of our Analytics team. Interpreting and identifying data trends will be second nature to you and you’ll be able to confidently present your findings and recommendations back to the business.
At Lantern, we operate in a fast-paced environment but with that comes variety. You’ll have the chance to get involved in activities including:
- Understanding the performance of purchased portfolios and producing insight to form collections strategies.
- Creating, analysing and implementing structured reporting to support decision making across the business.
- Project based delivery of analytics to support wider business recommendations and initiatives to improve performance.
- Data warehouse maintenance, interrogation, extraction, and manipulation using SQL and Excel, ensuring the database is kept up to date and accurate.
- Improving and automating processes to increase overall accuracy and speed of team output.
- Regular maintenance and monitoring of models used in business processes, such as collections forecasting.
About you
You’ll have proven experience as an Analyst, ideally from within a Financial Services business and will be able to demonstrate:
- A degree qualification in a STEM subject.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and SQL.
- Previous experience of Python would be beneficial.
- Experience of working with analytical and statistical tools/ packages.
- Knowledge of developing analysis and reports in Excel and SQL.
- An ability to present technical data and outputs to non-technical business stakeholders.
