We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator to join our team based at Lynn and Inner Dowsing site in Grimsby.
As an Operations Coordinator you will be required to ensure that all stock movements are recorded and controlled in an accurate and auditable manner. You will be responsible for providing information to the Site Management team to ensure stock is managed correctly throughout the operation as well as conducting and auditing inventory.
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
  • Accepting incoming goods and comparing them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity)
  • Checking incoming goods for visible damage, documents them and provides the information if required
  • Arranging the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area and records them in the appropriate systems
  • Assembling deliveries out of given storage compartments and reviews for completeness and accuracy
  • Attend daily planning meeting with operations team and weekly site meetings and provide feedback to stores team
  • Ordering, receiving, picking, packing, issuing and dispatching inventory following the Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) process’
  • Maintaining fully auditable records on both system and paper accurately to meet tight replenishment schedules for crew transfer vessel
  • Managing and controlling of calibrated tools, PPE (Personal protective equipment), statutory requirements, and secure inventory including safety equipment and standard tooling
  • Maintaining a safe, clear, and clean environment ensuring all procedures are adhered
  • Expediting effective logistics solutions to the site Operations team to deliver service to our internal and external customers
What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…
  • Demonstrable experience working in stores/warehouse or material control ideally within Offshore Wind or similar environment would be preferred
  • Excellent organisation skills and be able to adapt quickly to the changing requirements
  • Should have experience in MS Office applications and SAP
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
