Operations Controller
Location: LE6, Office based (some flexibility with WFH but limited to business needs)
Salary: To £35k

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 8-4:30

My Client is a Reputable and well-established company “pivoted” as many businesses did during the pandemic and are thriving more so than ever before. Following the establishment of a new division, the category has been steadily growing and is forecasted to grow exponentially over the course of the next 12 months.
The opportunity lies within the ownership opportunities in making this role your own. A position with great depth and breadth where you’ll be both commercially and operationally focused on the progress of the division.
If you have experience in a similar role, where you have worked with maintenance or service engineers, perhaps in facilities management, having played an integral part in coordinating work, work-flow planning/management, or scheduling of works, then this could be a fantastic next step in your career.
The Role
You’ll be operating alongside other “Category Managers” and the wider business in managing customer demands (Local Authority Contracts plus some domestic) in ensuring fulfilment of works on time and in line with SLA Frameworks. Your typical day will encompass the following skills
Resource Planning
Materials Planning
Supply Chain Management including Forecasting
Procurement
Inventory Control
You’ll of course be Customer and Supplier facing, championing best practice and first class delivery.
The Candidate
We are looking to draw interest from applicant who essentially have strong experience in the above, demonstrating a firm and established framework of skills gained through operating within Production or Supply Chain Planning.
You’ll be well organised, an outstanding communicator, able to be one step ahead in a fast paced environment and sometimes under pressure. Your business like approach and commercial acumen will be a stand out feature of your list of key qualities, especially key for the relationships you’ll be tasked with building and maintaining.
IT literate, you’ll also be well adept with databases and Excel to an Intermediate /Advanced level (Pivots / Look Up’s). The excel knowledge level is essential.
