Job description

Our people work differently depending on their jobs and needs. From hybrid working to flexible hours, we have plenty of options that help our people to thrive.

This role is based in the United Kingdom and as such all normal working days must be carried out in the United Kingdom.

Join us as an Operations Change Analyst

  • Take on a critical role defining and realising fantastic solutions, processes, benefits and new opportunities to deliver to our stakeholders
  • You'll be working in a forward-looking team and helping us to shape the future of our business
  • It’s a great chance to hit the ground running and make a tangible impact through your work

What you'll do

You'll be part of our Agile Mission team and help build the operations that support NatWest Banking as a Service. To do this, you'll work with our operations and risk teams and define operational processes to make sure that operations agents are trained and have the tools needed to serve our customers.

Alongside this, you'll support the Operations Readiness team on discovery items and raise new tickets to create solutions to requirements. You'll also produce high quality and accurate operating procedures and process map documentation that'll be used by the operations teams.

Your top priorities will include:

  • Collating evidence to support regulatory rules mapping and raising new requirements where gaps are identified
  • Producing training documentation and FAQs to aid operation teams on new processes
  • Gathering feedback from the Operations function and ensuring improvements are made to new processes so they're ready for the full customer launch
  • Working with our wider teams and stakeholders to find mitigations to any risks, issues and dependencies that're identified
  • Preparing documentation for approval from the Operations and Risks functions and raising new risks, issues and non-compliance to regulations or policies

The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have knowledge of at least one relevant operational area in either card operations, financial crime, payment operations, banking operations or lending.

In addition, you'll have a highly analytical mindset, great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work.

Furthermore, you'll need:

  • Knowledge of banking operational areas
  • Experience of process mapping and documentation creation in standard formats
  • Good attention to detail
  • A background of working in an Agile environment and an understanding of Jira and Confluence

If you need any adjustments to support your application, such as information in alternative formats or special requirements to access our buildings, or if you’re eligible under the Disability Confident Scheme please contact us and we’ll do everything we can to help.
