Fashion / Apparel Designer - Menswear Liverpool, England
Job description
We are looking to add a talented Fashion Apparel Designer to our team.
So you know, we produce mainly men's underwear but also sports and casualwear and we’re based in Liverpool. Our customers are overwhelmingly part of the LGTBQI+ community.
Specifically, we’re looking for an Apparel / Product Designer to work alongside our current Graphic Designer.
The role is full time and we’re looking to employ ASAP.
Here’s our wishlist:
- Passion and experience in designing clothing, specifically menswear.
- A handle on Optitex would be a dream.
- Putting together Tech Packs for suppliers, and understanding how to lay out your work so overseas suppliers can understand.
- We want someone who enjoys sampling, someone who gets excited about seeing their products all over the world.
- Free thinking individual who as well as working with our group ideas, including those of our current Graphic Designer has their own.
- A positive attitude to making things great. Always getting better.
- Finally, if you’re keen to explore the commercial side of negotiating and working with suppliers in China, Turkey, Bangladesh, Vietnam etc that would be ace.
Here’s the skills that we’d expect you to have:
- A whizz at all things Adobe including PS / AI / IN etc.
- Experience with product specific software such as Optitex preferably, Clo or another.
- Understanding men’s clothing.
- Knowledge of a Tech Pack and confidence in putting them together.
What can we offer you:
- A salary of between £25,000 and £33,000. Salary is judged on ability & experience.

- Potential multiple trips abroad to China / Turkey and other supplier locations.
- Also potential trips to trade shows around the world. We’ve visited multiple shows including Tokyo and Las Vegas.
