Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Social Media Coordinator. As the Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing social media presence, creating engaging content, and implementing social media strategies. Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media strategies that align with the company's marketing goals and objectives. Identify target audiences, key messaging, and engagement tactics to maximize social media impact.
Content Creation: Develop and curate compelling and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including images, videos, infographics, and written copy. Ensure content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with the brand's tone and voice.
Social Media Management: Manage and maintain the company's social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Regularly post and schedule content, monitor comments and messages, and engage with followers to nurture relationships and build a loyal community.
Social Listening and Insights: Monitor social media trends, conversations, and competitor activities to stay informed about industry insights and opportunities. Utilize social listening tools and analytics to measure engagement, gather data-driven insights, and optimize social media strategies.
Social Media Advertising: Assist with the planning and execution of social media advertising campaigns. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop ad creative, targeting strategies, and budget allocation to achieve desired campaign objectives.
Influencer Partnerships: Identify and establish relationships with relevant social media influencers and industry thought leaders. Collaborate on influencer marketing campaigns and partnerships to expand brand reach and engagement.
Community Management: Engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Foster positive interactions, address customer concerns, and escalate issues when necessary.
Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor key social media metrics, such as engagement rates, follower growth, and website traffic referrals. Prepare regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media efforts and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
Proven experience in managing social media platforms and implementing successful social media strategies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content tailored for different social media channels.
In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their features, and best practices.
Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools, such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
Creative mindset with the ability to develop visually appealing and attention-grabbing social media content.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple social media channels simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency and quality across all social media platforms.
Familiarity with social media advertising platforms, such as Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, or Instagram Ads.
Basic graphic design skills and knowledge of photo and video editing tools are desirable but not mandatory.
