The Operations Business Support Team works in a virtual hub and is responsible for providing a high quality, flexible and effective business support service to the Operations directorate. As a key part of this close knit team you will lead a team of Business Support Officers, your job will be to ensure that work is allocated across the team and completed to a high standard and on time. You will act as a point of reference, giving guidance and support where needed. In addition, you will build relationships across the operations directorate, identifying new opportunities to expand and improve our support offer. This is an exciting time to join Alzheimer’s Society as we ramp up our ambitions to reach more people affected by dementia and deepen our impact. We are particularly focused on reaching and making a difference to underserved communities who wouldn’t usually access our support and information. About you You have experience of managing a remote team ideally gained in a voluntary, community or public sector context. You love solving problems and building connections to achieve common goals. You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You are confident in using Microsoft 365 You enjoy working collaboratively and are able to prioritise your own and your teams workload effectively whilst remaining solutions focussed. You have excellent organisational and timekeeping skills. You pay attention to detail but can still see the bigger picture You are looking for an opportunity to really make a difference to people with dementia and their loved ones, so that they get the right support, information, and advice at the right time.
