Description
Sitting between the Rider Happiness, Growth, Bike Professor and Logistics teams, Operations is the glue that holds everything together. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for execution of delivery, collection and mobile bike professor daily operational tasks.
We’re looking for someone who is execution-obsessed. You will need exceptional organisational skills and an eye for detail that can manage multiple and competing priorities at the same time. You should be great at problem solving, have no issue with ambiguity and be highly self motivated.
Key responsibilities:
- Use route planning software to plan daily routes for in-house delivery drivers ensuring all tasks are completed by the end of the working day
- Allocate tasks to 3PL ensuring routes are completed each day within SLAs
- Accurately communicate with drivers to ensure all products and equipment required to complete daily tasks are loaded prior to leaving the warehouse
- Reconcile bikes in and bikes out ensuring any discrepancies are accounted for
- Conduct regular analysis of route, driver and vehicle efficiency and suggest data-driven improvements
- Be the primary point of contact for both in-house and 3PL delivery teams providing timely and accurate responses to all questions and requests for assistance
- Update internal systems ensuring all assets are tracked with 100% accuracy
- Work closely with the Rider Happiness Team to ensure riders are kept informed of any delays or scheduling issues
- Collate data-led insights and driver feedback and regularly present to wider company

Requirements
We are on the hunt for raw talent over purely skills and experience. We believe ambitious, smart people can pick up most things quickly but ideally, you’d have some of the following:
- New or recent grad
- Accurate and methodical with a exceptional eye for detail
- Excellent time management skills and comfortable working at a fast pace
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to draw insight from large data sets. SQL capabilities and experience with data visualisation tools such as data studio a bonus
- Excellent communication skills and able to communicate accurately and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive and solution focussed
- Strategic and structured thinker with the ability to spot issues and come up with solutions
- Love and live the mantra of continuous improvement
- Ability to become proficient in new software quickly
- An energised and enthusiastic self-starter with a “can do” attitude
- Hardworking, ambitious and ready to do the best work of your life!
- Past experience in an operations role is preferred but not essential
