Operations Assistant
- Storal Central Support
- Open to field based/office based/hybrid
- Reporting to Head of Operations
- Full Time, 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Job:
The operations assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day administration for the Operations team. Their primary role will be to directly support the Head of Operations and Operations team in achieving exceptional performance across all business areas.
This is a developing role that will evolve as the business grows.
Main Responsibilities:
As a business that moves quickly and that has bold ambitions, the primary areas of focus for this role will be:
- To support the delivery of year on year growth both within established nurseries and through ensuring the successful launch and integration of de novo sites and acquisitions.
- To support the Operations team in achieving their corporate goals through a collaborative and cohesive approach
- To liaise professionally with both external and internal stakeholders
- To support the operational practices that enable the business to scale rapidly without compromising on quality, reputation and financial control
- To support with planning training days and other events
- To take notes at meetings, prepare the agenda and subsequently distribute to all participants
- To keep abreast of our competitor offerings to both teams and families by supporting with competitor analysis
- To prepare weekly, monthly and termly/quarterly report including the distribution of weekly communications to nurseries
- To format information for internal and external communication - memos, emails, presentations, reports with a high level of accuracy
- To own the nursery operations manual, liaising with stakeholders to ensure information is up to date
- Organise, maintain and audit electronic filing systems.
About you:
- Excellent Microsoft office knowledge, including strong Excel skills
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Experience within the Early Years Sector desirable
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a capacity to adapt and change within a fast-growing business
- Have attention to detail when producing data and reports
- Be an excellent multi-tasker with impeccable judgement on prioritisation and managing expectations
- Ability to travel to all settings across the group
