Job description
We are currently recruiting for an energetic, enthusiastic person to join the operations team, To be actively involved in the daily running of the warehouse processes and follow all stock procedures. To receive goods in deliveries and assist in transferring of stock to the shop floor as requested. Support the customer experience through stock availability and legal compliance of deliveries and controls.
Key responsibilities:
Checking in goods
Checking incoming deliveries against supplier paperwork. Picking stock for the shop floor
Packing and delivering stock safely to the shop floor
Loading and unloading deliveries
Storing products in their allocated locations
Security of stock whilst at the Cargo Centre
Assist in stock takes (if necessary)
Assist in pricing of stock (if necessary)
Transferring of stock by using SAP (in the absence of supervisors on the weekends)
Security
Ensure all stock/deliveries goes to the shop floor safely and securely
Ensure the safe usage of the pallett truck
Customs and Excise Regulations
Assist Supervisor in ensuring stock is always moved in compliance with C&E regulations
Assisting the Supervisors / Managers in actioning shop and warehouse breakers, in compliance with C & E regulations
Health & Safety
Safe usage of all manual handling equipment (pallet truck)
Being aware of any potential hazards within the warehouse and reporting them to the Manager / Supervisors / HR Dept
Housekeeping
Ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy
General housekeeping
Dispose of all waste products in line with the airport authority guidelines
Miscellaneous
Be prepared to undertake Any ad-hoc duties required as per the needs of the business
