Role profile
Job title Sales and Operations Support Assistant
Location Guildford
Reports to Operations Director
Hours 0800 – 1700pm Monday to Friday
Salary Up to £30k Depending on experience
Holidays 22 Days per Annum plus 1 day for every year of service up to 25 days
What will you be doing day-to-day?
You will be responsible for a combination of sales support and administration.
This will involve providing support to the sales and operations functions of inTEC EDUCATION, as well as dealing daily with customers and suppliers.
Overview of the role
Sales and Projects Support
- Sales Support including Sales Order Processing
- Purchasing and Procurement, Including Goods received processing, booking-in goods and managing deliveries to customers (inc. delivery notes)
- Processing and purchasing of client Licence and Contract Renewals
- Business reporting (stock reports, backorder reports, WIP reports, project reports) in line with guidelines and timeframes
- Support in obtaining ongoing competitive supplier pricing & assist with customer proposals.
- Maintain and update Project Records as Required
- Support for the Sales Team, e.g. prepare and issue of proposals and quotes
- Remote Support contract renewals processing
- Raising Project Codes
- Checking and approving supplier invoices and approving Purchase Orders
- Follow up with customers for quotes sent
- Monthly report of on-site visits to finance to invoice
Administration
- Answering incoming enquiries (telephone & email) and ensuring these are processed appropriately
- Scheduling technical staff site visits (e.g. termly schedule), informing client and updating calendar.
- Support with Office & facilities management (including purchasing supplies, cleaning services, air con, fire and intruder systems)

Personal attributes

- Understanding of commercial aspects of contracts and client relationships
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player
- Able to deal with and resolve customer complaints and issues
- A basic understanding of a range of information and communication technologies
Qualifications and experience
- A Levels or equivalent
- 2+ Years of success in a similar sales support/administration role
