Job Brief
DESIGNWORKS COLLECTIVE is seeking an Operations and Logistics Controller to support the Commercial Operations Manager with logistics services and day to day operational tasks.
The Operations and Logistics Controller’s main responsibilities include 3PL management, inbound shipments data analysis and inventory control.

Responsibilities
- Container management and inbound logistics
- Daily operations support to wider team
- Prepare product data to send for uploading
- Manage inventory control and ensure records are accurate
- Daily container management reporting
- Landed costs calculations and entered into NS
- Manage documentation and goods received for 3PL partners
- Support with system projects and implementation
- Day to day warehouse management UK/EU
- KPI and SLA management
- Daily order management with warehouse
- First point of contact for warehouse queries
- Manage inventory discrepancies upon receipts and resolve
- Inventory adjustments
- Track and coordinate sales sample requests
- ASN management
- VAS management
- Monitor the order process and receipts for The Candle Bar
- Support B2C order fulfilment process
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in logistics management and operations
- Excellent problem -solving and organisational skills
- Experience of organising workload and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of working collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
- Experience of working in a role where accuracy is key.
- IT-literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (in particular email and Excel/Google sheets) and ability to learn role-specific software.
- Organised and able to manage time/priorities effectively.
- Excellent communicator.
- Attention to detail.
- Adaptable and proactive.
- Willingness to learn and continually expand knowledge.
- Experience of working in a related field (consumer product safety and/or consumer goods) desirable but not essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
