Operations Analyst

Operations Analyst Remote

RSA
Full Time Remote 10.56 - 12.04 GBP Today
Job description

At RSA, we pride ourselves in providing our customers with unwavering professionalism and a range of insurance options to meet their needs. That’s why we’re always looking for the most talented people to join us and ensure we continue to deliver the products and service our customers expect.

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Analyst to join our established and experienced team here at RSA.

This role is a remote role and can be anywhere in the UK.

Your Role

Your role will involve working on projects to reduce indemnity spend, improve the cost, quality or speed of service or improve operational control. You will spend the majority of your time, researching operations to understand how they work in practice and analysing data to generate insights. You will solve complex business problems by challenging assumptions through grounded data, taking a system wide approach to understand how the parts of an operation interact in order to optimise the whole, rather than just a part.

  • Collecting, collating, manipulating and reconciling data from numerous sources to ensure its completeness and accuracy.
  • Performing analyses or investigations to identify root causes of pre-defined business issues.
  • Developing business cases to support your recommendations for change.
  • Facilitating workshops to collect information, share data / fact driven insights and develop models.
  • Supporting the claims management team in delivering solutions which have a significant impact at a departmental level.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who has driven change through data lead projects, who has a recognised statistics qualification or has Lean/Six Sigma accreditation to a minimum of Green.

You will also need to have experience communicating complex information simply and clearly to build support for your recommendations.

What we offer you

At RSA we have learnt from the last few years and know that the way in which our people work best has changed. To reflect this, we have implemented a hybrid and flexible working policy, knowing that our colleagues value the ability to bring their best selves to work, whether that be at home, or in the office.

We have a culture of support and development, we work with our colleagues to provide them with the tools they need to develop their careers and do their jobs to the best of their ability.

About Us

We celebrate difference and it’s important to us that we have a culture where our people feel respected and valued for who they are. We pride ourselves on being accessible and encourage inclusive environments where our people can always give and show the very best of themselves. We wholeheartedly welcome applications regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, race, marital status, ethnic origin, religion, or social class.

We understand that, for most, home life is a priority, so we are happy to consider all our roles on a part-time or job-share basis. We are committed to hybrid-working so if you'd like flexibility in when, where, or how you work, we’d love to hear from you.

If you think you would be a great fit for us, but don’t meet all the requirements of the role, please contact us as we’d love to discuss how RSA could be the next step in your career journey.

We want to make your candidate journey as easy as possible, so please let us know if you need any reasonable adjustments.
