Operational Analyst - £80k - Bristol (Mostly remote)

I am currently working with a client who are a leading consultancy business operating primarily in the defence and aerospace markets. They are looking for experienced Operational Analysts (Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant) to join their analysis and approvals Practice.

The ideal operational analyst will have previous commercial experience with ballistic teams and have a stem degree.

Responsibilities:

• Create and use analysis tools, models, and techniques to answer challenging client problems.

• Provide the evidence to support Government procurement decisions up to and including Category A Business Cases and Combined Effectiveness and Investment Appraisals.

• Work with customers and stakeholders on policy, planning and strategy related problems through a variety of techniques including workshops.

Key skills:

+ Assuming a leading role in bid development activity including solution development and bid authorship.

+ Building and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, and industry partners.

+ OA techniques including wargaming, simulation, mathematical modelling, and data analysis (including basic understanding of Python, Power BI, Tableau).

Coming from a defence consultancy is preferred but not essential. SC is required for this role.

The salary will be up to £80k depending on experience with great company benefits.
