What's the purpose of role:
To support the Operations team of the units and Finance team.
Who you'll deal with:
Internal: Operations, Procurement, Central Finance, Central Support Functions
External: Suppliers, Customers
What you'll be doing:
- Read and manipulate complex data (airline flying programmes)
- Creating databases for storage and future access
- Present weekly reviews of actual and forecasted activity to Operations teams (Theoretical Hours, actuals)
- Produce Purchase orders using SAP and monitor your unit’s variable spends
- Assist any Supplier quarries regarding payment
- Analyse profit and loss statements, track, collate and report the financial impact of any overspends
- Continuous improvement of the reporting processes and procedures
- Support in preparation of weekly/monthly/annual forecasts and budgets with commentary and analysis
- Responsible for Month End close activities to meet dnata deadlines and providing commentary
- Provide support and assistance to Operations teams, Senior Managers, Business Partners by fielding questions and requests, gathering data and generating reports

What you'll have:
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Advanced Excel and IT skills
- Power BI skills (desired)
- Knowledge of accounting processes (desired)
- A proactive approach and a 'can do', collaborative attitude
- Ability to multitask
- Resilience & enthusiasm to investigate issues and solve problems
