THE ROLE
Working in the Commercial Operations team and reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager, the role covers a wide range of disciplines. The primary focus of the role is to support the Commercial Operations Analyst and Commercial Operation Manager, and other RDS departments including the Sales team.
You will be a proactive individual with excellent attention to detail, high level of numerical ability and analytical skills, excellent communication skills and a high level of computer literacy – in particular Excel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working closely with our Commercial, Sales and Finance team to process customer contract requests.
- Providing support to the Commercial team with administrative tasks.
- Processing pricing updates to ensure the latest figures are available to Commercial and Sales teams.
- Updating periodic supplier stock reports as required by the business.
- Supporting the Commercial team in helping design commercial models for presentation to internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to both role and team continuous improvement activities.
- Assisting with project opportunities, presentations and constructing solutions for relevant stakeholders and customers as required.
- Managing your time to meet deadlines and to achieve the objectives of your role.
- Demonstrating a high degree of flexibility to meet the demands of the business.
- Attend and participate in meetings as requested.
- Adhere to all RDS policies and procedures.
Job Experience
- Previous experience of working in an office environment.
- Experience in contracts and client engagement.
- Previously worked along side a sales team.
Technical Skills
- High competency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Microsoft Teams

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
