Inform Recruitment is working exclusively with an Independent Asset Management firm that provides a personal and traditional service to its wide range of clients. Their office is very smart and provides a professional working environment. The team is friendly, relaxed, and dedicated to providing the best service to its clients. The firm now operates on hybrid working, and there is even an office dog!
As Operations Administrator, you’ll work as part of the investment operations team, providing administrative support to the firm’s 11 partners. This role has so much variety, and you will have the autonomy to make it your own.
The business offers excellent benefits that include working three days from the office and two from home (after successfully passing your probation), a bi-annual discretionary bonus, financial support to gain industry-related qualifications if you wish, career progression, 28 days annual leave + bank holidays, free parking and casual dress. Working hours are 8:30 – 5:00, with one hour for lunch.
As Operations Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising directly with the custodian regarding clients’ assets.
- Using Excel to run reports and analyse the performance of clients’ portfolios and investments.
- Extracting and manipulating data from the client portal.
- Providing monthly data feeds to pension providers.
- Providing clients with quarterly reports.
- Maintaining the web portal.
- Liaising with financial advisors, clients, and pension providers.
- Supporting the onboarding of new clients.
- Answering calls and responding to emails.
- Working in line with FCA guidelines
Requirements for the Operations Administrator role:
Intermediate Excel skills are absolutely ESSENTIAL for this role, including working knowledge of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP. 1+ years of office-based/administrative experience is also required.
Due to the nature of the industry, you’ll need great communication skills and a professional and confident telephone manner. You’ll be good with numbers, have an excellent eye for detail and be enthusiastic to learn.
