Many people move to the Outer Hebrides for the quality of life and the ability to regain a better work-life balance. The Isles offer a wealth of activities for the outdoor enthusiast, with wide open spaces and easy access to rugged hills and spectacular beaches. The Isles also have a rich cultural heritage with Gaelic widely spoken and regular cultural and sporting events throughout the year.
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Team Lead to undertake the Team Lead role of the Occupational Therapy (OT) service for the Adaptation and Rehabilitation Team and Short-Term Assessment and Reablement Team.
The ideal candidate will have well-developed leadership and management skills with extensive post graduate OT experience in adult physical disabilities and illness. We are looking for an individual who works well under pressure, adapts to and leads rapid change with excellent interpersonal skills.
We place a high value on person centred care, working collaboratively with people, learning, innovation, and staff wellbeing. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming, supportive and integrated Occupational Therapy team with opportunities for widening your skills and experience.
If you feel you are the right person for this post, please contact Sonja Smit, Occupational Therapy Services on telephone 01851 822847, e-mail [email protected] for an informal discussion.
