The role
Fugro is currently recruiting for an Operations Administrator for the Operations – Personnel Resources team who will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support activities whilst ensuring discretion and confidentiality.
Who you’ll be working with:
Within this role you will be the focal point for the Company’s operations administration for offshore personnel. You will work closely with the Operations – Personnel Resources team including Offshore Personnel Coordinators and Operations Supervisors to ensure documentation, certification and records for the offshore personnel are kept up-to-date. You will also deal with external suppliers for booking survivals and medicals etc.
You will also be responsible for creating reports; Maintaining offshore staff records on Onboard Tracker ensuring essential certification and documentation i.e. personal details, qualification, seaman’s / discharge books, passports, driving license and ensure field staff CVs are updated.
Provide administrative support with regards to data entry to company systems and run reports to monitor expiries; Process invoices and liaise with suppliers to ensure receipt of updated purchase orders in timely manner;
Responsible for the administration and coordination of department meetings. Responsible for general administrative duties supporting the Operations-Personnel Resources Department and Field Staff, including but not limited to typing and issuing letters, ordering stationary etc.

Within the role there is a requirement for the individual to be proactive, driven and motivated with exceptional organisation skills and most importantly have the ability to manage and prioritize a busy but varied workload.
This role if for you if you want to be part of a great team a fast-paced team, you are results orientated, well organised and keen to learn. You will be able to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Company by providing the highest level of service.
Demonstrable strong attention to detail and an eye for continual improvement. Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Essential
  • Standard grade English and Maths or equivalent;
  • Experience within office or administration role;
  • Delivery of varying workloads to agreed schedules and quality standards;
  • Confident communicator to all levels of employees in with the company with customer friendly telephone manner;
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • Strong IT skills and able to use all Microsoft packages in addition to learning new systems;
  • Ability to work under limited supervision;
  • Be pro-active work on own initiative;
  • Flexible adaptable approach to work;
  • Live within commuting distance to Aberdeen
Desirable
  • Business Administration qualification or equivalent;
  • Experience in personnel logistics, personnel tracking, booking travel;
