About the role
As an Operations Systems Support Specialist, you will have a unique perspective, more than anyone else working within a CFC as you will be working across three different disciplines; Engineering Operations, Technical Support Services and Business Operations. What you'll be doing:
Ensure relevant business systems are operational and providing an efficient service to Ocado’s customers / clients and to avoid or minimise any impact to customers following system outages or incidents.
Managing incidents and tasks across multiple disciplines through to either resolution or escalation.
Identify and raise faults in appropriate systems, be the technical point of contact for onsite and offsite teams
Manage the ticketing progress for Technical support services
Investigate failed tasks and analyse the performance of key onsite assets.
This is an onsite-based role and will take part in a team shift pattern to cover operations 24x7.
About you
You will have a background in a technical support capacity with focus on hardware support / incident management and a good understanding of computing configurations, ITIL, infrastructure
Experience in managing and resolving technical incidents in hardware, software and networking
Able to ensue with stakeholders at all levels to provide technical updates and engage with technical requests, following and creating documentation, processes and procedures throughout.
Good analytical and problem solving skills will also be key.
