Operational Excellence & Change Co-ordinator - Remote - work from home - ARD921918

We have an amazing opportunity for an Operational Excellence & Change Co-ordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Operational Excellence & Change Manager you will be responsible for providing support to improve & document operational business processes & support Specialist and Wholesale Projects and Integration to deliver efficiencies and smooth transition of business.
What you will you do as an Operational Excellence & Change Co-ordinator?
Key Role Accountabilities:
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
- Support Business Improvement through liaison with relevant business partners & key stakeholders to identify, document & facilitate process change, delivering efficiencies, positively impacting income &/or driving better outcomes for customers.
- Create mapping documents & SOPs that support improvements to existing processes or introduce new processes where a need is identified.
- Develop and raise document requests; arrange the necessary authorisations, applications & system access required to enable individuals to complete relevant processes.
- Communicate documented process improvements & where required, provide training to accompany changes to SOPs.
- Provide support to Specialist and Wholesale Projects, as required; co-ordinating resource, communicating updates, following up action points & other administrative duties.
- Manage & Triage change requests and allocated tasks within Projects, as directed by Managers.
- Provide a point of liaison for third parties & internal service providers, as required by Operational Project Managers.
- Support PAS Optimisation though ongoing review & improvement, collaborating with Business Teams to realise opportunities to optimise PAS functionality, documenting & rolling out process change & sharing best practice.
- Support and Co-ordinate testing.
What we are looking for in an Operational Excellence & Change Co-ordinator:
- Confident & assertive communicator, capable of sharing written & verbal information effectively.
- Adaptable, with experience of developing & fostering strong working relationships with colleagues across multiple disciplines.
- Track record of improving Business Processes.
- Understanding of the Project delivery lifecycle with strong practical experience of managing multiple workstreams.
- Pragmatic, with a proven ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity and work autonomously, using pre-agreed rationales to prioritise tasks.
- Very strong administrative & organisational skills.
- An appreciation of regulatory / legislative framework within the Insurance Industry.
- Experience of working with a variety of PAS systems, preferably with first-hand user experience.
