Job description
We seek an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as Operational Director for our group of predominantly Private & NHS dental practices. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day management and ensure that each practice operates to the highest standard of care aligned with CQC regulations and GDC standards.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that each practice meets regulatory requirements and complies with company policies and procedures.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and performance of the area manager, practice managers and staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the patient journey,
- Support the business owners to monitor/ maintain the financial performance of the practices and to lead with the development of budgets and financial plans/forecasts
- Work with practice managers to maintain a positive relationship with patients and the wider local community.
- Ensure that each practice maintains high levels of diary capacity and patient satisfaction
- Work with our stakeholder partners, including CQC and Local Authority, GDC to develop positive relationships and ensure best practice is delivered across the practices.
- Use KPIs to monitor the performance of the practices and ensure action plans are in place and progress made where required whilst maintaining standards and financial performance.
Requirements:
-Background in dentistry or dental services.O
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably as an Operations Director/ Area Manager for a group of practices or a similar position.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards for Dentistry
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Good financial management skills and experience with budgeting and financial planning.
- Passion for providing high-quality care to patients.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or similar
- Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Leadership and Management
