JOB TITLE: Operational Assistant Manager
SALARY: £41,292 - £45,880
LOCATION: Bristol Harbourside
HOURS: We are willing to consider both full time & part time applications. (12 month Secondment/FTC)
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site
About this opportunity:
You'll join us in Group Finance Platform, within the Finance Division, where we are a team of system SMEs and Operations. We are responsible for maintaining ledger systems and support SAP and Fusion General Ledgers.
This role offers wide variety of opportunity to learn about the future systems of Lloyds Banking, work in a very supportive and dynamic team and grow your career. You will be supporting daily and month end tasks to ensure smooth running of the Ledger reporting period. You will get experience of working with various stakeholders and opportunities to get involved with Finance projects.
Across the banking industry Finance Platform is receiving increased attention and focus as we own many core Finance systems and transforming Finance for better!
What you'll be doing:
- Ensure Daily and month-end tasks are completed in a timely manner to support Group’s General Ledger functioning
- Maintain daily and month-end timetables and ensure they are available beforehand
- Perform system operational checks and represent the view on a daily standup
- Work closely with the line Manager and provide updates on key month-end issues
- Create and maintain operational procedures to make sure they are relevant and upto date
- Monitor mailbox and Service Now tool for any user queries and promptly answer the questions whereas liaise with System SMEs if required
- Collaborate with System SMEs on wide variety of issues as well as projects relating to SAP and Fusion General Ledger
- Participate in team discussions in improving and streamlining processes
- Develop personal capabilities through growing own skills and using existing formal and informal training opportunities

What you’ll need:
- Experience of SAP R/3 (ECC) Finance system and month-end timetable support
- Knowledge of AMC daily and Month-end processing
- Managing month-end interface runs via Mainframe and CyberArk
- Able to communicate effectively with Finance stakeholders
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office
- Experience of working in a time pressured and operational team
- Highly organised with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment;
