Korea Foods Company is the largest importer of Korean food in Europe. Established in 1999, we are a family-run business and operate out of its Head Office in New Malden, Surrey. With a sales turnover of over £40 million, we employ around 300 members of staff, including office staff, warehouse, drivers, and retail staff in 12 retail outlets. Year on year growth is around 15% and continues to grow at this rate during 2023.
Main Purpose and Scope of the Job
Working Pattern: 26hrs per week
Mon – Tue 8:30 to 18:00 (Full day)
Wed – Thu 8:30 to 13:00 (Half day)
The Online Shopping Assistant will be partially responsible for the overall operations of the Online Shopping department ensuring that Korea Foods Company Limited delivers superior quality of online shopping experience to customers.
Online Shopping Assistant will be expected to be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with good customer service and retail administration skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure and to meet targets.
Key Responsibilities
· Filling grocery orders that customers have placed online;
· Picking the products on the customers’ shopping list ensuring accuracy, product quality and freshness;
· Packing the orders and arranging them for shipment or delivery;
· Processing picking lists using SAP, updating stock information and order status;
· Reporting online shopping analysis to Senior Management Team when/if required;
· Providing general customer service by answering customers’ inquiries and offer additional support to enhance customers’ online shopping experience;
· Liaises with other departments when necessary to determine the ranges of goods are to be picked and delivered;
· Any other reasonable management requests.
Person Specification
· Previous experience in E-Commerce would be beneficial;
· Proficient IT skills, including Adobe Suite include Photoshop, illustrator, Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point;
· Previous experience of using SAP software would be beneficial;
· Ability to research Korean websites where products are typically mentioned and grocery orders are placed;
· Excellent communication skills with customers;
· Accuracy in what is selected for customers’ orders;
· Strong problem-solving attitude
· Ability to work under time pressure and to work on own initiative

Salary: £10.42 per hour
