Job description
We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Online Sales Operations Manager to effectively lead the sales function for our SaaS products, achieving new customer growth in line with the company vision and goals. Implementing new sales strategies and processes to help strengthen the position of our online rental software products globally.
The successful candidate will manage a team of highly driven sales specialists but also work alongside the marketing department to ensure marketing output is helping drive new business leads and sign ups to our two cloud rental solutions; Current RMS and OnRent. Managing the day-to-day business operations within the online sales team, demonstrating key leadership, organisational and collaborative skills, as well as good commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & New Business Development:
- Be responsible for the sales operational activities of the Cloud Rental division.
- Full management and development of the Online Sales Team.
- Onboarding new starters effectively, assisting in training when required.
- Ensuring the team are keeping accurate and relevant records and data, as well as maintaining their sales pipeline to the best of their ability.
- Reviewing and continually improving the sales processes in place, with a view to making them as simple and non-restrictive as possible for these fast moving products.
- Lead the team in representing the company and products at key tradeshows, events and via other media outputs when required.
- Delivering and creating best-practice and training material for the Online Sales Team, or arranging both internal and external training where appropriate.
Marketing:
- Working with the Marketing Department to generate high quality leads and new trials, in line with the marketing and sales yearly strategy and goals.
- Keeping a regular pulse on the market to identify new opportunities in growth, products and markets.
- Working with Marketing to create new marketing strategies and ensure campaigns are relevant and stand out to our target market.
Leadership and Organisation:
- Working with the leadership team to motivate colleagues and keep a high level of morale throughout the business.
- Hold weekly stand ups to align the online sales team and present monthly reports and slides to the wider sales department, leadership team and Customer Success Team.
- Manage the operational billing systems; Stripe and ChargeBee and processes around these.
- Generate monthly revenue growth figures, analyse results and work with the Sales & Marketing department to ensure we hit target’s.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams when required to help strengthen the online product offering.
Key Requirements:
- Innovative and results-driven manager with demonstrable experience in a SaaS/tech environment.
- Experience in pipeline management and identifying effective sales cycles.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment, taking ownership of new projects that will help drive growth for the Online Products.
- Experience in utilising CRM systems and marketing automation systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pro-active nature, looking to continuously improve and push on.
- Degree level and above or 5+ year’s experience in B2B Sales, Operations or in a SaaS/Tech environment.
