Online Sales & Operations Assistant
About Us
Grosvenor Furniture was founded in 2003 and is a small yet well-established online furniture retailer that specialises in the sale of Luxury dining furniture and beds. We operate from a warehouse based in Kelsall, near Tarporley, Cheshire, CW60SR and have a small view by appointment showroom where we display a selection of our luxury dining chairs and tables.
The majority of our sales are taken online through our website and eBay store and we take pride in offering 5 Star customer service to ensure our customer expectations are exceeded.
Job Requirements
We are looking for a sales driven person with practical experience of working within a fast-paced small business environment.
This job role is varied across both our Sales & Social Media, and your duties will include:
Office Duties
- Answering in-bound calls and emails dealing with sales and customer enquiries.
- Managing and processing customer orders.
- Booking in delivery dates with custom.
- On occasion uploading new products onto our website.
- Dispatching DPD orders on a daily basis
- During quieter periods, you will also be required to manage our social media platform. We are looking for someone who has knowledge of Social Media and can use this to advertise and promote the company.
- Proficient IT Skills for Email, Excel, Word, Website administration
- Customer Service focused ensuring excellent customer service is given at all times.
- Sales focused ensuring maximum sales are achieved.
- Communication Skills - Have professional and friendly communications skills both written and verbal.
- Responsible & Reliable – You will be a key holder to the business and must be able to open up in the morning and lock up in the if required.
- Motivated to follow up on sales leads and to up-sell products and services to our customers.
- Enjoy problem solving by identifying all the facts and providing a fair and quick resolution.
- Have a flexible and adaptable approach towards work.
- Manual Handling – You must be physically able to lift furniture boxes.
- UK Driving Licence.
Preferred but not essential skills
- Photoshop skills for editing product images. (Not essential and training can be given).
This job is a Full-Time contract based on a 40 working hours per week
The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break).
The job is based at our warehouse address: Grosvenor Furniture, Unit 5 Organsdale Farm, Kelsall, Tarporley, Cheshire, CW60SR
Salary £25,000 per annum. Hourly rate £12 per hour
30 Days holiday including Bank Holidays.
