A fantastic opportunity to join Ada & Ina Fabrics team as a Sales Assistant. We are one of the leading fabric retailers online, specialized in natural fabrics.
Ada & Ina is an online store for natural fabrics, bedding and made to measure curtains. Our office/warehouse is based in Canterbury – close to the city centre and Canterbury East railway station.
Ada & Ina is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated individual to join our excellent team working in a fast-moving e-commerce business. We have high job satisfaction amongst our small team due to great team spirit with flexibility of a small business and casual dress code.
Essential skills required excellent communication skills, experience in using key Microsoft Office Apps (Word, Excel, Outlook), and eager to learn new skills.
Main duties:
- Replying to customer queries and assisting with placing orders or aftersales queries by phone and email (full training will be provided)
· Preparing fabric samples and sending them to the clients
- Daily tasks of quickly and efficiently printing, packing and dispatching orders.
- General administration duties according to monthly schedule
Essential Criteria:
- At least one years’ experience in a retail environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate (Windows 11, MS Office).
- 2 GCSE’s at grade C or above including Maths and English (or equivalent).
- You can work well as part of a team.
- You can work well under pressure.
- You should be punctual, hard-working and have positive can-do attitude.
These skills would be beneficial but not required:
· Some Experience Photography and photo editing (for online product photos).
· If you have managerial experience this would be an advantage.

- Full-time, permanent job with 35 - 45 hours per week.
- £10-£11 per hour plus after probation period opportunity for monthly performance-based bonus.
