This is an exciting Opportunity to join a fast paced Operations team. You'll work closely with various Operations team’s, the Sales & Customer team and Compliance to ensure the client experience is as smooth as possible. A range of regulatory requirements must be adhered to, as well as identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance current processes in order to effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
The team:
We’re looking for an Onboarding Officer to work within Operations reporting to The Back Office Manager. The Onboarding team sit within Octopus Operations team, overseeing the successful take-on of new clients and new investments.
What will you be doing?
- Data entry for application processing
- Handling, banking cheques and processing client money
- Completing necessary investigations to ensure applications are compliant with our internal and external regulations – liaise with various stakeholders
- Daily management of own workload to ensure that both new and ongoing work items are completed in a timely manner
- Managing a busy inbox and adhoc queries from internal stakeholders
- Help with streamlining procedures and processes
Ideally, you’ll have:
✅Strong eye for detail and ability to work precisely and exactly is imperative
✅Ability to prioritise and multi-task whilst working under pressure
✅Able to adhere to strict daily and adhoc deadlines
✅Customer focused
✅Must be comfortable using technology and leveraging digital applications
✅Experience with AML/KYC
