This exciting hybrid role is ideally suited to someone who is looking for a management career within customer focused logistics.
Overseeing the day to day operation of a network depot from both an operational and customer service viewpoint, the successful applicant will be capable of multitasking, managing driver workloads and dealing with escalated customer queries.
Being highly organised, being able to think on your feet and make decisions is the key to being confident in this role. Experience using Microsoft Office to a high level would be an advantage.
Stepping up to cover the annual leave of the network Shift Managers will also be required and will offer a solid stepping stone for progression within the business.
Duties will include activities such as:
Making any necessary routing alterations
Ensuring loading is completed on time
Despatching drivers in a timely manner
Carrying out reporting and other admin duties to strict deadlines
Dealing with damages and claims
Ensuring scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed
Other admin and customer services duties
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
