JOB SPECIFICATION
JOB TITLE: OFFICE SECRETARY
RESPONSIBLE TO: DIRECTOR
MAIN DUTIES
Supporting senior management with resolving various issues within the business. This includes customer service, supplier management and HR.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Processing all customer orders.
- Communicating and confirming deliveries with customers
- Communicating any potential delivery issues with customers
- Chasing and resolving supplier raw material issues
- Writing HR letters.
- Checking and approving internal documents.
- Taking minutes in staff disciplinary and grievance hearings
- Arranging meetings for directors
- Any other ad hoc needs to support the business as directed by senior management.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Must have confident telephone manner.
- Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft excel and word.
- Must be neat and conscientious.
- Takes pride in work and appearance.
- Degree educated would be preferred.
- Helpful and caring nature
- Energy with an ability to work under pressure.
HOURS OF WORK
8:30am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday
SALARY
Up to £14 per hour
20 days holiday
