Roche Communications, the UK’s leading restaurant and bar PR agency, is on the hunt for an office manager with magical powers. Well, not quite ‘magical’ powers but Jedi skills when it comes to planning and using initiative.
We are a friendly bunch, obsessed by food and drink. Based between Oxford Circus and Regent’s Park, we work with some of the best-known restaurants, pubs and bars in the country.
Our culture and office environment are incredibly important to us, but so are smooth processes and systems. We’re looking for an office manager three days a week (days tbc) with excellent organisational skills and a personable disposition to support with day-to-day administrative activities and to help steer our 20-strong ship.
The overall goal of the Office Manager will be to create a fun, professional and positive working environment for our London office. You will be responsible for all office administration, the day-to-day operations of the office and support staff where needed. You will be the first point of contact for staff enquiries and will work with the senior team to develop the culture of the office. The perfect person would be an energetic, adaptable professional who is able to multi-task and able to work independently with integrity.
Job type: 3 days a week from our Central London office
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 pro rata

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain office processes and improve efficiency
- Provide direct administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings and events, booking travel, handling outgoing and incoming post, and updating employee lists and keeping HR records up to date
- Order office supplies, coordinating food and drink deliveries when requested
- Administer office reward schemes/benefits
- Assist with organization of in-house or off-site activities, including staff parties, monthly meetings, and training sessions
- Manage Health and Safety within the office
- Book travel on behalf of the UK team
- Assist with handling incoming calls & enquiries
- Organizing charity events/fundraising
- Liaise with building management on issues within the office
- Maintaining the condition of the offices and arranging for necessary repairs
- Ensure all expense forms and credit cards reconciliations are complete and sent to the Finance team for processing.
- Assist the MD and senior team with ad hoc requests as required
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Proven office management, admin or PA experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Have the ability to be agile and adapt positively to change with a ’can-do’ attitude.
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
