Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Housekeeping/ Laundry Assistant to be part of the team in Parklands Care Home in Alloa.
Our purpose-built care home provides high quality, personalised nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia and its related conditions.
Meallmore have invested heavily in the latest PPE and cleaning products to ensure you will be working in a safe environment. And we pledge to focus on your ongoing development, including e-learning, a 12-week induction programme and ongoing mentorship scheme. We’ll support you to achieve your potential.
Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include:
- High standard of cleanliness adhering to additional covid measures for covid19/Omicron
- Cleaning the bedrooms and bathrooms for the elderly residents of our 62-bed care home also communal areas
- Vacuum rooms and corridors
- Dispose of waste accordingly
- Change and replenish towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
- Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis completion of cleaning schedules
Qualifications and skills:
- Positive attitude
- A driven individual that can use their own initiative
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work on your own or in teams
- Flexible and reliable
- Experience working within Care Homes, Hospitality, Schools or Commercial (Desirable but not essential)

Pay Rate: £10.42 per hour + benefits
Hours: 30 hours per week.
