Leigh Academy Rainham has an exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced, conscientious and personable Office Manager/PA, starting from April 2023.
Our successful candidate will be a pivotal member of our central team, supporting the Principal on a daily basis and working with a range of internal and external contacts. We are looking for a candidate who can turn their hand to all requirements and can be flexible with day to day duties, has excellent communication skills and will manage the smooth day to day running of the administration process across the academy. Our successful candidate will be the first line of contact between the Principal and any phone calls, requests from staff, students and visitors etc. You will be responsible for a collaborative and friendly team and therefore previous supervisory experience is essential, along with exceptional organisational skills. A flexible approach with a can-do ethos is required, as is drive, grit and boundless enthusiasm. A sense of humour is essential! If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
The main purpose of this role is to ensure the highly effective operation of all aspects of the main office and reception and to support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Further to this, to proactively support the development of a dynamic learning community through effective delivery of administrative services to meet the needs of every stakeholder.

This is a permanent opportunity working 37 hours per week, Term Time + 3 weeks inset with an actual salary £25,300 - £28,994 per annum (£27,979 - £32,065 full time equivalent), commensurate with experience. Please be aware that a full year contract can be considered for the right candidate.
About Leigh Academy Rainham: In September 2021, we opened our doors to the 180 founding students of our co educational comprehensive school for 11-18 year olds. Already oversubscribed, our new school is firmly set to be a beacon of excellence for secondary education in Medway.
