JPD Corporation are currently looking for a Office Manager to join our team in North London, Finchley.
Role Purpose:
- To provide a range of secretarial and administration support to the team.
- To be responsible for the effective management of office facilities and supporting administrative resources for a designated team.
- Take on bookkeeping and additional administrative tasks as JPD see fit.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and administer office management processes and systems to ensure the efficient and effective running of the office
- Provide administrative support to the Directors and team members, where applicable
- Manage admin tasks to ensure the smooth running of the SharePoint platform
- Ensure the office is fully compliant with all security protocols and Health and Safety requirements
- Ensures office supplies are at a sufficient level and replenished as required
- Check that office equipment is in full working order and take immediate action to ensure any repairs are reported to the relevant internal/external provider
- Work with the Procurement function to secure best deals as well as complying with company-wide procurement processes and suppliers
- Maintaining Absence/Sickness/Holiday trackerS
- General Admin duties Minutes of meetings/typing/photocopying/scanning
- Any other admin task that may be required
- All data processing including tracking of company credit cards and card management throughout the company
- General bookkeeping on accounting software
- Company event management
The following qualities/experience are essential:
- Experience in managing a busy office environment and managing a team
- Experience in prioritizing own/others work and of allocating and checking work
- Highly organized and able to work on own initiative
- Strong communicator able to communicate confidently with all level of colleagues within the business
- Excellent team working skills and able to build relationships at all levels
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight timescales
- Very strong customer focus
- Excellent typing skills and IT Skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Bookkeeping knowledge and basic understanding of accounting protocols
