Office Manager
James & Cranwell are boutique executive search firm specialising in luxury hospitality.
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and detail-orientated Office Manager to join our expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to growth, we are looking to add an Office Manager to our team, where you will be responsible for the smooth running of the office function, basic HR responsibilities and business administrative tasks such as invoicing clients.
This is the ideal opportunity for an organised individual who is competent working both independently and as part of a team, where you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience managing an office, ensuring the smooth-running of the working environment for staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play an essential role in ensuring the smooth running of the office on a daily basis
- Be the first point of contact for any third-party providers of facilities services, such as building maintenance, security and cleaning
- Maintain the office condition, ensuring repairs and maintenance are scheduled and carried out
- Ensure all stationery is ordered and kept adequately stocked at all times
- Basic HR functions such as helping with on-boarding and contract distribution
- Coordinate and distribute post
- Checking and approving invoices for office-related services
- Monitor adherence to Fire Safety regulations
Key Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar office management role, where you have been responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the office
- Confident working both independently and as part of a team
- Able to use your own initiative, implementing ideas that will benefit the office function and the business as a whole
- Organised, with the ability to manage diaries and schedules to ensure the business is running smoothly on all fronts
- Confident being the first point of contact for customers, clients and visitors to the office, both face-to-face and over the phone
