The Role
We are looking for an Office Manager to join our company, this is an office based role in KT4. The candidate must be within a commutable distance from the office and available immediately.
Basic Salary: £25-30k per annum plus bonus/commissions
Hours: 40 hours a week
Office hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday (Flexible for the right candidate we could offer 8-4pm or 9-5pm)
Requirements:
- Excellent telephone manner & people skills: you will be the first point of contact for incoming enquiries so you must have a good telephone manner and be polite, enthusiastic and friendly at all times.
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills; no need to be a tech wizard but you must be able to comfortably work with all Microsoft Office applications
- Experience of online systems such as CRM (to add clients) Dropbox/Sync (for files) Accounting software like sage / xero etc. None of them are hard as long as you are a good learner and can follow a process well its a very simple system.
- Competent maths skills; don’t worry no trigonometry or algebra is involved but an understanding of working with widths, lengths, square meters, area and perimeter and of course the ability to work out percentages, calculators are fine!
- Able to work using initiative; we are a small team and you could often find yourself on your own in our office so must enjoy your own company and be able to work independently and focused.
- Able to work well under pressure and be an excellent multi-tasker; we are a small but busy office so you must be able to get involved in various aspects of the business as we always have a lot on the go!
- Highly organised with attention to detail; details are vital! You must be able to follow our process and manage the office, so organisational skills and time keeping are key!
- A proactive approach to problem solving; our head office team are remote, so while the head office team are on hand to help, you must be proactive in your daily activities and look to solve problems independently where possible
