Job introduction

We are looking for someone with the right skills to be a great Office Manager, to help us deliver service transformation, with skills in coordinating and delivering change to the Welfare, Revenues and Business Support service.

About the role

Salary £27,852 - 29,439 at time of writing, pay award pending

Our service is introducing a new Electronic Document Management system, which brings a high level of change and improvement to the Welfare, Revenues and Benefit departments. You will work alongside our System Programme Manager, Technical Delivery Team, Project Managers and the wider service, to help deliver this programme of works, as well as other projects in the service.

The successful candidate will work with internal and external stakeholders to support this programme. Time management, effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential to this position.

You will be working as a part of multiple project teams and as part of the wider Welfare, Revenues and Business Support service, to support the day-to-day needs of senior managers and project groups.

Tasks to be carried out (but not limited to)

  • Training and development of staff through coaching and feedback
  • Act as an escalation point between internal and external stakeholders
  • Organising meetings, managing project documents and writing up meeting notes

Depending on the needs of the various projects at any one time, you may be needed to work in our office at Bartholomew House, or work from home.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience working in a busy office and excellent ICT skills (MS Office 365) and communication skills across all mediums.
  • Experience working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • An adept problem solver, comfortable multi-tasking and calm under pressure

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
