Nursery Administrator

Location: Welwyn Garden City

Hours: 40 hrs per week

Salary: £Competitive

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Administrator to join a well-established, family run children’s nursery.

Playschool Nursery is an independent nursery serving the local communities in Harpenden, St. Albans and Welwyn Garden City.

About the Role

This could be your perfect role if you are…

  • A quick learner – you are tech savvy and can easily get to grips with different office software such as email, spreadsheets and various databases.
  • Have an outgoing personality – you will be in the heart of the organisation liaising with clients, suppliers and staff, and therefore excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are a must.
  • A true team player – you are an active participant and will exhibit commitment to the team in working co-operatively, providing support, and solving problems.
  • Have a keen eye for detail – especially when dealing with numbers.
  • Have the ability to adapt to changing workloads – you have a positive, can-do attitude to carrying out various adhoc duties.

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

To be a successful candidate, you will possess the following…

Skills and Knowledge:

  • IT literate and competent in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

Experience:

  • Experience of working in a similar client-facing, administrative position (Desirable)
  • Previous Nursery/Education admin experience (Desirable)

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade A*-C or equivalent (Essential)
