Based in the heart of the city of Lincoln, in an enviable spot on the Brayford Wharf, Wilkin Chapman is a well-established, ambitious Top 200 law firm. To support our busy office and assist in the smooth running of the administrative and facilities functions within the office, we are seeking a pro-active Office Assistant.
The role will involve:
- Collecting and delivering post
- Opening, preparing and distributing the delivered mail
- Providing general administrative support including printing and/or scanning documents and bundles of documents as requested
- Arranging, ordering and providing catering for meetings and events.
- Re-stocking kitchens with milk, tea and coffee etc. and ensuring supplies and always available
- Setting up meeting rooms including some moving of furniture, and ensuring they are cleared and left tidy after meetings/events.
- Providing housekeeping duties to the office as needed including emptying shredding bins, tidying the stationery cupboards, refilling the printers etc.
- Assisting in keeping the office clean and tidy and reporting repairs.
