Job description
We are seeking to fulfil a full-time office assistant that will support the operation of our fine residential care homes based in Whitefield and Bolton. (The role is predominately based in our office in Whitefield, Bury).
It is essential that you share our values of being kind, honest and down to earth. Amongst these values, we are looking for great administrative and organisational skills.
Full-time Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
Up to £10.50 DOE
Office Assistant Responsibilities:
· Providing general administrative support to the care homes
· Placing regular orders for food, stationery and nursing aids etc.
· Maintaining office supplies
· Data entry
· Adhering to current GDPR requirements
· Writing letters and emails
· Creating newsletters and in house posters for upcoming events
· Manage petty cash accounts
· Answering the phone, taking messages, and forwarding as appropriate
Office Assistant Requirements:
· At least 1 year experience in a similar role – preferred not essential
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Highly computer literate with a excellent capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools
· Fantastic organisational and time management skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to accurately follow instructions
