We are looking for an experienced office assistant to join the team at Old Roselyon Manor Nursing Home.
There is the potential for flexible working hours.
Our nursing home and community care agency has been family owned and managed for over 30 years, with a great local reputation, and GOOD CQC report.
The successful candidate will be expected to have knowledge of excel, word and general computing skills.
We are family run and managed, and our inclusivity is embedded in the way we manage and support our staff.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a friendly and approachable demeanour, as you will be in constant communication with staff, residents, and relatives. Sensitivity and empathy are emperative.
You will liaise regularly with the local services - Adult social care, GPs, Community hospitals, Cornwall Council and Inspectors.
This is a dynamic, developing role, with responsibilities growing as your time here progresses. initially we are looking for someone who can work 3 to 4 days a week, with an on call weekend every month.
You will be expected to manage confidential information, and communicate effectively with staff, residents and visitors.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop and implement policies and procedures in line with legislation and regulatory bodies, and ensure we are CQC ready. Involvement in inspections will be necessary.
Training and development is encouraged and supported.

Part-time hours: 21-35 per week
Salary: £15.00 per hour
